I need a valve gasket change, sliders (not gonna happen, too many other bills), and I'd like to get some wiring done with my lights and guages, but that's not important. I wish AK didn't have to take Monte away from me

I'm spoiled that I live so close to a Tacoma legend...

 

Yea..but ill have alllllll day to work on it. I'm betting 3 days of solid work. No biggie I'm used to having my truck in pieces the day before a meet plus ill be installing a new fan on Morrison. Or more of after at camp.

Should be in Powell the 28-29 of July hopefully.

Still very possible to get the wiring done and valve gaskets.

I have less time than you, since i'm meeting Lisa on Saturday, you have until Monday lol. So max four days between when you get home and when I leave to meet Lisa. Wow, this is gonna be close. I don't work Friday, problem is that my brother turns 17 that day, and that's probably when I would pack or something. Best thing to do might be to make a long night of it (no part stores open tho in Powell), like Thursday night, or early Friday. Or perhaps another night that week.

That's crazy, you and I are alike, we like to cut things close to the chase .I do that with my homework, wayyy too much lol.

im the same way with everything. I hate it. im not motivated to get ANYTHING done. school work, work work, appointments. I have no motivation until im pushing it down to the wire.

Got the switch and switch cover earlier this week, need to get all my valve gasket stuff next - need to order that + spark plugs and wires - figure I might as well try and get that done too.

Really appreciate the help! might invite JohnK to come over too, then we can all hang out as well.

And plugs will be easy to do as the whole I take manifold has to come off anyways. So ya might as well.

 

all i can say is FUCK YOU FLUX CORE WIRE.

i can weld, we know this.




but using a cheap welder with flux core it just becomes shit!
so dont be alarmed when you see some of the welds on this thing

 

Why are you using that crap?? Go get some CO2. Just bring the extra for your tires

Whaaaaa??? Thought they all had gas hook ups? Jesus. Must be a tiny welder.

 

its a 110. so yes. it is not a very powerful welder at all. i can make it work for this thin metal, but it sucks not being able to tune the heat. partly why its so hard to use it. i cant fine tune the heat and wire speed. when i weld i like it hotter and i move faster. with this thing I have to spend more time on one spot to get it to melt so i stare at it longer (why i got burnt so bad) and it builds up more.
