    It's almost scary how close it is!

    Just found out I have the 3rd off as well, which will be perfect to do my shopping, load up the truck, and get some good sleep in before I hit the road at 4am. I'm looking forward to my stop in Yellowstone, even if it is alone. Can anyone name a couple cool spots to visit and check out that are right off the highway?

    Also my fav place for lunch is pelican point by the marina on west thumb. Awesome place. You will go right by it on the way to the east gate. Stop at any gysers you want really. All the really come stuff is more then I think you'll have time for IMO. If you can manage it. Drive up to canyon through the Haden valley. Or down..it's just gorgeous to see the big meadows and usually buffalo.

    Only place in Yellowstone I'd know hat would sell duck is Lake hotel. Super fancy and expensive.

    Well shit. Never mind then. And that sounds about right then haha. Pretty sure it was a hotel. I know it was on the lake for sure tho, so if there is only one like that on the lake thats gotta be it. I didn't pay the bill. But I may just be eating at the picnic tables now that I think about it.
