    Well they had to bump te date to the 9th, the reception was originally the 11th which is what I was planning on going to, but they made it all one day, on the 9th. And it's not like I have a major part in it, just a groomsman (he doesent want to choose one best man lol) but i really want to be there for them

    Yep, because they really save on maintenance!

    I came upon this stranded "4wd Tour" rig stranded on BB. It had run out of gas. Big shock since the gas gauge didn't work or ANY of the other gauges for that matter. A back up rig (a Mog) had just taken the passengers on their merry way and brought him a 2.5 gal gas can but he could not get it started.
    Here's the funny part. I offer to help and he gladly accepts. He had put most of the fuel in the tank and was sharp enough to save some for possible priming. The problem was, he was pouring cupfuls of gas down the carb. He says "it has an electric fuel pump but it might not be working". OK, I give things a look over and see a mechanical pump on the engine, plumbed in. Then I roll under the rig to check for an electric pump. I had to just lay there dumbfounded for a minute. EVERYTHING that held fuel, coolant, engine/gear oil or grease was leaking profusely. In 50 years I have never seen a bigger clusterjeflugen with tie wire and duct tape everywhere. Not to mention the 4 different brands of street tires.
    I hear the electric pump and perform the regular "start a flooded engine" routine and got him on his way.
    Free drinks at his base Hotel/Tour operation back in Ouray.

    Not to call anyone out but that Ford pic is about 100 yards up from the bottom of the trail just past the "Do Not Enter One Way Past This Point" sign and he is going the wrong way.
    Anyway I have seen similar rigs do it no prob and I would rather have been in the Ford than the "Tour" rig.
    Heck, outside of backing up in gravel for the 3 point turn the whole trail could be done in 2wd.
