    No. pics of the wheels on his truck to show proof they are his.

    Is your speedometer and odometer correct? After I regeared, mine was way off. I ended up changing the little plastic speedo gear to get it pretty close so now the speedo and odo are correct.

    My scangauge also now gets correct information from the ecu.

    I think i need it man. My rig is a PIG. Super freaking heavy. And even in 4lo 1st gear i feel i moves too fast sometimes. I espceally felt this way after Lander. Its sooooo rocky that you can just cruise through it. An auto will be nice there. But my truck weights so much and the air drag from the lights is killer.

    i do want to come to moab very badly. But..it'll always be there.

    besides i want a locker next time i go there for the meaner trails. i don't want to do all the smooth trails again.

Monte I understand you want to regear and make your truck perfect now, and that it can be a pig due to the weight...but come on, do the expensive mods in the winter when its not prime wheeling time. Im sure you are a capable enough driver you can manage one more summer with your gears.

    but i don't have a job in the winter haha summer man.

    Moab still isn't totally out of the question for me..it could stilll happen if i land a few more gigs here and there.

    But i really want to give the re gearing a go. my truck is more sluggish then ever. I doubt i could even over take you again :laugh:

    I have some welding to do and other then the re gearing. Only thing im gonna add is the frame reinforcement plates. And i have a lot of just maintenance to do on it.

    I voted for the 12th BTW. The later, the better. Not sure how long I can take off from work (I'm only considered part-time), but either way I probably wouldn't be able to make the MT part of the trip.:( Also my sister wants me to take her on a week long hiking trip through the Wind River range around the same time, so I'm trying to figure out if I can somehow fit that in as well. :facepalm:

    Quite honestly, I'm not so keen on the idea of those switchbacks on the Morrison trail either.:eek: Especially with the crappy turn radius I have now that I'm not running wheel spacers up front.

    You have to calibrate it. Calibrating the mileage is easy if you know the percentage it is off. Calibrating the fuel is harder though. I switched to an ultraguage since it is always there and plugged in making it easier to calibrate.

    That most likely explains why you might be getting odd info from your torque app. The ecu is not getting correct info from the speedo sensor so it is sending that incorrect info on to the app.

    I ended up ordering one of those little gears from my dealer. It was the 33 tooth one. My truck had the 31 tooth in it.

    It snowed here last night. :eek: I have a feeling you guys are going to get a lot more snow before its over.
