If I knew for sure that I could go and that we had the time, I would tell you to bail on Moab this year and do all three legs with us and then at least you and I (and whoever else has the time) could hit up Moab on the way back from Black Bear. I know you and I and most likely Mike will all pass through Moab on the way back anyway. Wouldn't be the huge TW Moab Meet camaraderie, but we could blaze through some trails and play around more since we won't be waiting on as many rigs.

I would love to make this trip as it looks epic, however I see a few problems...

    1. I'm stock
    2. I've never driven offroad with the exception of some fire roads
    3. I have no money.

I hear if you get pregnant though Obama will give you lots of monies. So maybe I should work on that?

    im not a chick.

Lol plus you are a LLLLOOOONNNNGGGGG ass ways away haha

Stock won't be a huge issue. I have a secondary route planed for super stock and inexperienced drivers.

And this kind of event in perfect to come learn how to pick lines and other good tips on driving offroad.

Money..is..well..required ha..maybe i should add that to the gear list..lol

and good luck on that last part :p

What's your gc like at the diffs and cross member, Monte? You said you were scraping on that last trail and my 255/85s and skids aren't in the budget before this trip. Especially if I get that camera.

I may wuss out on the last one on leg 2 :( no skids = bad day

mmmm not sure..i can find out for you though.

255/85s though should clear just about everything.

I think our pace will be much slower this year so we can do a better job of watching the diffs. My LCAs and Diff did take a bit of a beating but nothing crippling.

If anything though you can drive to the top of the mountain easy. Its just the part that dives off down to the lake that gets super rough. The view is worth the drive up, trust me

It'll be sorta the 1st/2nd. Basically a whole different trip after the 1st part.

Lisa will most likely end up leading it.

Gonna work out some more details later though :spy:

If you do the alpine loop right, black bear is part of it. You basically add on black bear and imogene pass to make the loop just a little bit bigger. That will put you in Ouray, just drop south on the hwy a few miles and hit mineral creek to get over to engineer.

    I love that area!
