    ummm...hello... GIRL.. ahem...just popping in to join the convo :sorry:

    good story. some sci-fi shows I just can't get into but this hooked me for some reason. needs to be at least a teeny bit plausible. and have good character development/interaction.
    and the acting is decent - consider most of these folks haven't done anything this long term before. they're used to a guest spot here, a commercial there. nothing multiseason. they've got to be a little freaked out landing a mulitseason deal. yeah, they're a little rusty but it works. Amos was in Hunger Games, Miller in The Sweetest Thing amongst others, Mao on Lost, Dawes...probably the most experience and they're all underplayed.

    I thought that Amos was going to be left behind!! :mad: I liked him before but was really worried he was gonna miss the shuttle thingy
    the protomolecule is something different in each of the rings? If whatever civilization was there before tried a different approach to defeating it...and only made it smarter, more powerful...before it moved on to another galaxy? How would that relate to the version that was in the Milky Way?
    why is Avasarela the only one who continuously wears colors? And jewelry? A few other characters do sporadically so it can't be a wealth/status thing. Some sort of symbolism in it?

    Been a few times I thought they were going to be killed off and I was rooting for them, more so than other characters who were in peril.
