That is a beautiful bumper. You've got some serious fabrication chops.

Yep, completely jacked it up. Originally I had one can there and everything was good but then I thought, I have 2 cans so I might as well make it bigger... the welder is pretty unforgiving...
I've already been thinking of ways to fix it without cutting up everything to shit.

Thank you sir but as stated above, I still have a lot learn. :frusty:

I like the scepters so I'm going to move it up, don't think I'll get to it until after the holidays though.

Do you have a diff drop installed with your lift? is it worth the money?

Yep, got a diff drop. Don't know if it really does any good but I look at it as cheap insurance.

I just finished installing my OME lift and have double checked the torques of everything. There seems to be a popping or a clunk when I hit a bump did you experience anything like this? Do you have shims under your leaf springs? Thanks and sorry for all the noob questions!

Sorry, not my thread but, you might check your tail pipe at the back of the leaf pack. I have an exhaust relocation bracket installed and it was still hitting the tail pipe resulting in scraping and "popping" over and under the tail pipe, if that makes sense.

Ended up grinding the corner of the pack off.

Sounds like you have the infamous "over a bump goes clank" issue. You're not the first person to hear it, I think you will get a better answer over on the "lets see your OME set up" thread but from what I understand it's due to your shocks bottoming out on recoil. A hit or miss problem with OME. I dont have shims, I have yet to read of a reg cab that needs them. Hope that helps.

I am moving from Texas to Orem Utah tomorrow. Do you happen to know anyone selling a camper shell that would fit a 1st gen tacoma?

Hello @Jacob032, around these parts the KSL.com classifieds are far superior to Craigslist. It even has a searchable section just for truck shells. Check daily because the good ones sells fast. But shells for 1st gens are pretty easy to find.

Like they said, ksl.com classifieds for sure. I regularly check for Tacoma parts for sale on there and I've seen a handful of camper shells for sale the past couple months. You may have to be slightly patient, and when its a good deal, you better jump on it asap or it'll be gone in a flash. :p

I'm right near Orem in the North Provo area. See ya around!

Had a blast last week too, still trying to get all that salt/mud out from under the truck.

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
    That tire swing looks dreamy..

A quick picture dump off my phone of some of the sweet Toyota's I've seen over the last couple days.
