Halloween Campout 2017 - Mt Bigelow, Arizona

My little sister had this great idea to escape the normal Halloween tradition, and go camping instead! It turned out to be a great trip and even more so because it was the first time we've ever convinced my mom to camp out with us! Pretty sure we can assume this will be a new tradition for years to come Mount Bigelow off Catalina Highway, Northeast of Tucson is a popular spot for us being only an hour away from home and sitting at about 8,000ft elevation. My dad and I went out the day before to lock down a spot so of course we made sure to grab pics of our trucks together. This is his official debut in my thread and he's very proud of his purchase! I gotta say it is my favorite 3rd gen Tacoma and his best Toyota yet

The weather was perfect out the next day so we took advantage and played bags, carved pumpkins and enjoyed eachother's company. My wife and little sister brought some Halloween decorations as well and decorated the trees around camp with some awesome orange and purple LEDs. It definitely ranked up there as one of my favorite trips with the family



























The next morning my Wife and I made breakfast for everyone. My little sis snapped some pics while we were busy at work.





My Wife also got to show off her new Apple Cider Mimosas! I promise they were as good as the look and then some

Almost forgot, also got to use my experience and helped my dad put a nice basic lift kit on his new Quicksand Tacoma. He likes to be different (wonder where I got it from ) and he colormatched his shocks. Hooked him up with Bilstein 5100 adjustable fronts and OME 885 coils, with RCD Extended 5100 rear shocks He loved how it turned out giving him a solid 3" lift after we got him some custom rear leaf packs couple weeks later! Shoutout to @HeadStrong Off-Road for the hookup!

 

New Years Day 2018 - Butcher Jones

A very mild day in Southern AZ on New Years Day 2018! While we were enjoying a ton of snow in Flagstaff last year, we had plenty of sunshine this time so we took advantage and went wheeling in Butcher Jones. @PLC721 my buddy Jamie, my wife and I went out for some pew pew action and made sure to start off the year the right way

Tucson Meet and Greet - January 6th, 2018

It ended up being a much larger turnout than anticipated but it was awesome to see Tucson has a cool crowd of Tundras! Thanks to @boardude for putting it together

 

Valley Spring Service Mod Day

My dad finally agreed to come with me to VSS in Phoenix to properly lift his rear end. He had a 2" block added to his leafs from the dealer and they were already suffering after a couple months of ownership. The guys at VSS hooked him up with 2 extra leafs and a re-arch giving him roughly 400lbs of added weight capacity in the bed while maintaining a level lift


That Behemoth behind his truck that once was a F-350 was pretty hard to miss as well Even though I wasn't a fan, I was impressed with VSS ability to take on outrageous custom projects! Really fortunate to have these experienced cool guys around to get my truck setup perfectly





Of course they had this cool Land Cruiser too


Even though I got too excited and forgot to take an "after" pic, here's my stance before a re-arch and adding another leaf


Had to introduce my dad to @SDHQ OFFROAD as well Lets just say he has his bday and xmas gifts picked out for the next couple years



@PLC721 met up with me afterwards for a beer and to see a comparison of my new height in the rear. TRON has a nice level booty even with 700lbs in the rear!


Heading home to Tucson I got a fresh reminder as to where my goals truly lie.... I need that UTV life!!


Not the best pic but this was after I pulled all the extra weight out of the bed. This trip was to correct my added weight of the bedrack. I didn't get my bed weight estimate exactly right before everything was installed so the leafs started to sag alittle as well as some extra camping gear weight I didn't account for. I think the setup is perfect now with the extra long leaf

SDHQ FIBERGLASS Install!

The time has finally come. I have had this vision of what I wanted my truck to look like from the day I put my deposit down to secure this SuperWhite Pro alittle over 2 years ago! Inspiration from the Camburg Expedition Build and SDHQ's Inferno Pro has lead the way for me to seek out and make TRON a unique build of its own This would be the largest cosmetic mod to date, and will remain one of my favorites! SDHQ fenders are made in Arizona and use CoreMat in 1 of their 3 layers that make up the fiberglass. It's awesome how rigid these fenders are all thanks to the CoreMat for the additional strength. The glass adds 4" of flare with a 2" rise, making DIRTY 7s a very real upgrade in the future The install and fitment came out great, although I do have some work ahead of me, getting the inner fender wells bedlined, inner fenders custom made up, and of course painting the glass, but I know it'll look amazing in the end

Now back to @SDHQ OFFROAD and their top notch customer service! Joey @olsin6 went above and beyond expectation when I jumped into my truck and realized they not only hooked me up with an SDHQ SwitchPros Bezel!....but also gave TRON a simple, yet unbelievably personal touch!! Lazer engraved "SDHQ: TRON Edition" into my shifter bezel


Huge thanks to these guys for taking care of my truck and paying attention to each and every customers needs/desires/obsessions....
