    I need some help...

I decided to relocate the fuse for my raptor lights so that they turn on and off with the headlights rather than be on all the time. I absentmindedly removed the add-a-fuse and didnt document or take note of where it was plugged in. So I took a guess. I plugged in the raptor lights where the forums said and left it at that. Today I start driving around and the check engine light comes on. I have attached a picture here.

Can someone please take a picture of their fuse box so that I can see if I am missing a fuse somewhere important?

It might just dislike where you’ve piggy backed it from. Also, you should be able to use your fuse panel’s cover to determine if all your fuses are present and correct. It should have the diagram. Sorry, don’t have my Tacoma anymore or I’d take a pic of the fuse panel for ya.

This is what my fuse panel looks like now. When I compare to fuse panels I see online this looks all good to me.

The fuse on the top right isn't even used. I noticed it was loose and saw that there wasn't any metal terminating metal there. so I put that fuse back as a spare. I also looked through the fuses I know I touched and dont see any blown fuses. so idk, I guess I get to take it to the shop....

It should have a diagram under the lid if I remember correctly. It’s best to compare it against your exact truck’s diagram. Hope that helps.

Have you tried unplugging the Raptor lights and seeing if the error messages go away? I’m not sure if you’d need to reset the battery by removing negative terminal for a short time.

If the problem started when you moved the power source for the Raptor lights to a different fuse then 99.9% chance that’s the cause.

Let us know what happens. I’m curious.

Hey everyone, I'm planning to head out to a different part of Tillamook State Forest then i usually go to. I'm thinking of heading to South Fork Rd and checking out Hoodraiser, maybe check out the easy route on 7 up, and eventually check out Archers Firebreak sections that are rated a bit lower. I plan to check out Trails Off-roads leading up to Saturday.

I'm still in the novice category, and I'm running stock tires with 5100s on the 4th clip (2 inches of ride lift). I do have rock sliders, recovery boards, kinetic ropes and an air compressor.

I'm flexible on time but would prefer to get there a bit on the earlier side. If anyone is interested let me know.

You will need a Oregon ATV Permit that are available online for $10.

I was out there a couple weeks ago. Did Archers from the west end going east, and finished with hogs back.
Archers was pretty mellow. The harder spots are very obvious or easy to back out of. Hogs back is pretty tough and technical. Would only recommend with sliders and high confidence in tight turns. The very west end of hogs back at the Y junction had some slushy snow. It’s a shady gully over there. The rest of the trails were clear.
I was in my ‘13 OR with lift and ko2s, one buddy in a 3rd gen 4Runner with ko2s, and one buddy in 94 pickup with all terrains.

    Great shots.

I was out there about two weeks ago. The snow near the top section of Hoodraiser made it very difficult to get up. I barely made it up in my TJ after a few tries banging the rev limiter. No pictures because my Tacoma buddy (who remains unnamed unless he speaks up) got stuck at the bottom in snow. Then his CV went POW so we were too busy getting him off the trail to take any pics. Lol. Hoodraiser was overgrown with some branches sticking out onto the trail. We got some good scratches down our vehicles.

    022746C2-A2D4-4405-BDEF-1828ACABDAE2.jpg

The white X is how far we made it up Hoodraiser in the snow on Jan 16.

The white dots are Jan 22 where we ran into enough snow to make us turn back. (Purple track was also Jan 22.) Snow was crunchy and slick, mostly not drivable on 33s even with F&R lockers.

Looks like a lot of the snow has melted since then maybe? @Adobada Tacos This might be some info that’s useful to you as well.

I appreciate the trail conditions report.

Looking at my Gaia map it looks like there is about 10-20 inches of snow scattered through that part of the forest. I've checked some weather reports and snow isn't forecasted but rain is. I'm going to keep monitoring the conditions before deciding to go out on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday are forecasted to be sunny so i may go out on Sunday instead.

These are from 1/22! Surprised we didn’t see you. Your snow assessment is the same as mine. That’s the only area we encountered snow all day.
