I plan to repurpose most of mine. The rear leaf pack and shocks are going on my off road trailer.

Right now it has the short stiff 3500lb trailer springs with nearly no travel. The trailer itself rarely ever exceeds 1500lbs full loaded.

As for the UCAs and front coil overs, not sure. I may just toss all that in the attic for now. The stock coil overs only have about 29k miles on them and might be useful with a 2" spacer lift when the time comes to send in my ADS units for a rebuild. I could still drive the truck around town.

With that said, I will probably be on the look out for some preused mid travel Bilstien shocks for the rear for that same occurrence.

I think I still have the stock coils and shocks in the attic from my old 1995 F150 after I lifted it. I sold that truck back in 1998 or 1999. o_O

Why send them in. Typical rebuild kit for them runs about $30

Because I may have clickers added to the front rezzy's when I do send them in. I have clickers on the rears already, as that load can change depending on what I am doing with the truck. Front weight isn't changing.

I also don't have or want to buy a coil compressor for the rare occasion or have a source of N2 to recharge them with. I'm guessing I would have to farm out that part locally anyways if I were to attempt to do a rebuild myself. And that would add to the $30 rebuild kit.

I may change my mind down the road, so don't rule me out just yet!

Went out to browns camp today. Ran hood raiser and hogsback. Was about a foot of snow at the top of hood raiser. Thinned out as i went back down hogsback and switched back to rain by the highway.

Had to sell my 17 Tacoma for a tow rig in order to pull my new home. Still here for a bit to keep in touch.
I'll be working the northwest hills of portland tomorrow. Then headed home to beavercreek. "Please lord keep the prius drivers home" Hoping for an early, heavy snowfall! Bring it on baby!

I’m more worried about the BMWs and Mustangs. Those are the two most common cars I see abandoned on the freeway during snow storms. Lol

I drove a Supra in the snow a few times. Not exactly the best to have a tight clutch and a light rear end. LOL

Nope! I just love it when there are hundred of cars at a standstill on a sloped off/on ramp. It’s a nightmare.

bet that Supra was fun overall!

I've thought about this but I'm not sure I trust the other drivers in the city to not do something dumb.

I LOVE driving in the snow. Snow in Portland is the worst kind. It always seems to have a layer of ice under it. Temperatures like to hover around freezing and / or go just above then back down again.

Still, plan on having some fun today, one way or another.

I will never understand all the cars that just get left on the side (or on) the road whenever we get snow.
