Oh-don’t forget, it’s free fishing weekend in Oregon. Take your better half fishing this weekend instead of wine and dinner. It’s sure to be a day they will not forget.

about 2"of ice on EVERYTHING right now.

I'm staying put unless I'm going somewhere fun.

    4wd isn't 4 wheel stop, folks. :p

And you might be good, but that asshole right there's gonna plow into your rig.

Yeah, our trucks are Billie goats. I couldn’t get it to lose traction on the way home. The main roads were boring (and sketchy because people suck at driving) so I took mostly side streets home to avoid idiots.

Sucks you got rear ended man. I puckered numerous times seeing people flying up behind me.

Went out for a little bit. Saw lots of interesting choices.
    - a frontier sideways across 122nd, spinning rear wheels, and chains on the front.
    - full snow rally driving in the old Kmart parking lot.
    - plenty of stuck cars. A high percentage stuck when exiting parking lots or side streets onto the main roads.
    - weird mix of snow/freezing rain coating everything now.

my wife made it to work fine in her Prius this morning. But suspect I’ll be picking her up tonight.

Switched over to Freezing rain in SE PDX at this point.

Ran out to grab beer real quick and had to do the obligatory 2wd traction control off donuts In the parking lot when I got home.

That's my "go to" memory of the typical PDX skating rink.
