Last year, I had to drive to Imnaha to get stuck. (See photo from the beginning of the trail. I got stuck 5 miles later.) This year I get to stay home..

 

Airing down to leave your driveway

 

Aired down today for the ruts from the tire chains. 19psi was great, smoothed it out a lot. Those ruts are worse than a lot of trails.

After I get some lift on this thing. FedEx was supposed to deliver my shocks yesterday out of Troutdale... well, I'll give you one guess whether that happened

 

or weather it happened.

My truck doesn't have that feature. Can't fail for that I guess?

Did you get it sorted yet?

 

I’m guessing it was snow covering the sensors on the bumper that was tripping it out. Doubt anything was actually broken

Helped 8 people get unstuck today. Learned a couple things.

- Don't let strangers use your traction boards
- Bring more than one shovel

 

What happened with those traction boards? Ha.

I helped 2 people out. Nothing too bad. Just needed a little tug with the tow rope. The plows make it tough for anyone trying to get out of side streets or parking lots.

 

I helped a bunch yesterday. Nothing today.... until just about 5 mins ago and walked out back to help the neighbor in the ally get back in the garage

 

The usual, "Don't gun it, go slow"...

They survived though. Just some light burn marks on the end of one. Won't make that mistake again with a rando.

Offered help to at least a dozen more. People are weird. Guy digging out his car with a crutch. Want some help?

I was having too much fun with my Tacoma in the snow though. I have a lot of years driving in the snow experience, growing up in the midwest. Never had a 4x4 then. Always liked driving in the snow, but having 4wd with ground clearance is so much more fun!
