If anyone needs brand new OEM 365/70/16 tires after you puncture your current ones this weekend, hmu! :) Looking to upgrade to new aggressive ones so I can join y'all ASAP.

Where did you get 35" OEM tires?

I will assume you fat fingered the 365 instead of 256.

I don't care what anyone says. The stock wrangers are great tires. Put a lot of off road miles on mine.

I absolutely don't trust the stock Wranglers off road. I got a flat on the gravel road out by Fort Rock last year.

They also wore down pretty fast IMO.

Once you switch to a more robust tire, you will feel the difference.

    For pavement, they are fine.

Not saying there aren't better tires. I am saying the stock wranglers are great for what they are. I would not buy another set, to be fair. I put mine though a lot of miles and countless trails before I finally slashed one. Slid sideways into a sharp rock while spinning the tires. The way that happened I am fairly sure I would have slashed the side of an E rated tire also.

My main point is, a bone stock Tacoma, with wranglers can do a lot of trails with a careful driver. Ground clearance and lack of rock sliders are a much bigger concern. I don't want anyone reading this thread to think they cannot go out and have fun on trails just because they have the stock tires. Worst case, you have a full sized spare.

I do agree with you there. Don't let stock tire keep you at the mall.

I too gave my stockers 3 full years and miles and miles of off road with only a single flat.

With that, they are just stockers and won't ever be on the menu when new shoes are on the horizon. There are worse tires out there that come stock on some trucks.

BTW, you coming out to Browns on Saturday?
