    Edit: just noticed that old shock is completely compressed with no tension. Good trick

    I’ll keep you posted. Those nitro chargers are actually at full extension. They just have a plastic shield that covers the shafts. New shocks are almost double the travel of stock.

    Yessir! You can only pull about 12.5” of travel out of the flexiest leaf packs out there so I saw no reason going 14”. 12” allows you to tuck the lower shock mounts up higher - level with the bottom of the axle tube so less stuff hanging down to catch.

    You didn’t really miss anything. Decided to sell because of the opportunity in the market right now. I have a 97 Jeep TJ trail rig to mess around in. I’ll replace the Tacoma with something after the market calms down
