Went solo. There was a little slush on the roads but nothing crazy. We went from the 26 side.

Haha I went up to Spur top trailhead and ran into a good amount of snow on the ground and down trees. Today I had to pull a ford explore sport trac out of a high center situation lol. He was from Kentucky.

That lake is cold in the middle of summer on a 90 degree day :D Love the area, it's beautiful. Screw camping there though. I don't do camp grounds unless I am dragged there by my family.

I won’t camp in those type of places either. I’d rather pull off and find a small clearing and set up from there.

That's the first "off-road" adventure I did in my truck, thus her name Lolo. It's not technical at all. Good first time solo trip with some beautiful views.

Thought I read of someone who went up recently. If I remember right, there was patches in the shade. I was actually thinking about checking it out in a few weeks if I can swing it.

Not Bennett pass specifically but I was up in that area on Saturday and there is still quite a bit of snow in the shade around the 5k elevation.

The free version of gaia gps is basically useless. Won't let you do anything. Bought the premium version today so I can see map layers and add in the map @TacoTim85 sent me.

Does anyone have any more local trail maps they made in gaia they care to share?
