A sweet bumper arrived today. I will give you a hint. It has the letters A, R and B in it. Anyways. I guess I would sell my factory bumper. The truck is a 97. The bumper is in great condition. 100 bucks? Is that reasonable?

Should be all good to go on hardware. He'll just need the rubber strips from your roof, and you'll use the ones made for the rack. I'll talk to him today about getting it to you. Where on Orlando are you?

I got an 05-08 overhead console with the display in the marketplace. Comes with the temp sensor too, for those looking to retrofit it into a truck without the sensor and wiring already in place.

Make sure you read that listing; the display is a repaired unit (by me personally) and one of the pins that a map light pops onto is broken off, but as you can see in the photo it's still percetly 100% functional.

When I first got my license and my first truck, my dad and I would take a trip to a junk yard almost every weekend, sometimes even if we weren't looking for anything, just to walk around and see what we could find. Like a little kid in a candy store Nowadays though most yards won't let you walk around in the yard... That's how our site functions; no customers in the yard.

I do stumble on some crazy stuff though... the "repairs" or "customizations" some people make to their cars are scary...



Just to clarify though, when I sell stuff on here, I'm not selling it for my place of work; this is stuff of MINE. I might have gotten this console from work, but it wasn't working then. But we can't fix and sell it at work as "refurbished", they would have just called it broken and not even bothered. That's were I come in

Same here my dad was a yard nut.. would go with him all the time as a kid. I was just in a big yard 2 weeks ago on E. Col. Always looking for old toyo stuff but most yards do not keep stuff long ,strip it and in the crusher.Oh well..Jim

 

Yeah when I lived in Titusville and Casselberry for a while I worked at a crane place (if you're familiar with the area where 419 meets 50, it's only a couple miles from there, called Maxim Crane; I was the parts manager for the shop), and I use to hit the yard off 50 that's close to Titusville at least once a week to see what new had come in. That was when I had my 91. I miss that truck so much... should have never sold it...
