    My 97 is booked for about 8-9K

    I would say 10K would be a fair price for that truck if its in as good as shape as he is saying.

    And why is the 99 one of the best, when the first gens had no real changes other than cosmetic from 98-04?

    ^^^^^^^^ Manual hubs, EZ to work on and no endless computers.. I look at the new ones as not owner friendly. First crap and trade in time on the gen 2 as far as I go..The 92 4x4 I had was also a good truck.

    That truck doesn't have manual hubs. Manual hubs weren't specific to the year, I've seen them on 98s, 99s, and 00s. Seen more without them then with though.
    Took me a bit to track down mine.

    Ah yes, the manual hubs. True. They stopped with the manual hubs in 2000. 2001+ only came with ADD.

    My 97 has manual hubs. Love them...
