    Not really selling just giving.
I have still wrapped and sealed 3M Window Weld and 2 cans of Rustoleum Universal Satin Black. Just meet me and there yours free. Found out after taking apart the front of my truck that my headlights are too big to fit in our ghetto oven to do the Headlight Mod. Not worth fighting them .

Painting diamond plate is a bitch. I did it last time with aluminum primer and good paint, didn't hold up. This one I used herculiner and that's already coming off. I wont paint another tool box. Sorry that doesn't help with the sale, but trying to share my experience.

did you ruff up and then fully clean the tool box before you painted? ive painted plenty of aluminum on my truck and i work in an aluminum shop and ive never had an issue with painting aluminum that has been ruffed up and cleaned.

The first tool box I did the ruffing, cleaning, etching primer, and painted. Didn't hold worth a crap. Everything I could to make sure it would last and it still didn't. Next tool box I buy will be black, not silver.

You are right. Painting diamond plate just doesn't work well. I was half kidding really. Hence the smiley. I probably should have used a

About the only way to do it right would be powder coat, and thats $$

Can't believe I haven't sold this yet, it's a steal at that price.

Guess black is in right now.
