no I haven't tried with the taco, just past experiences with other vehicles.

 

my neighbor sold his 08 4x4 with 80k on the clock on c/l for 21,500 with spacers on the front and air bags

 

wow, I know why he got so much money for his truck,..... the spacers.

 

Was looking at TRD ,crew, a real clean, all stock, 010 4x4 with 45k miles... freaking thing was 27,500 on a lot..

 

The got 2 2012's, 4wd at my dealership for 25k.

What would a REAL Tacoma sell for .....

1st Gen,2002; 4x4 SR5 X-tra cab,Auto, 2.7 with 69000 one owner miles

This includes EVERY Campaign TOYOTA had on these; new frame,struts,shocks ,Ball joints,spare tire carrier and I added 265/75/16 LT rubber PLUS the ALFUH MOD, front SPACERS but mine are torqued.....

 

Pretty good deal for two trucks...

yeah thats the high end, 15 is the lowest i would sell it for if it was mine

1st gens are valuable, if it was a 2004 it would be worth a min of 17 and could fetch as high as 20. none of that 2nd gen crap.

 

at times I think having a 1st gen would be a lot nicer than the 2nd gen

 

buying first gen instead of another 2nd was the worst mistake i could have made

 

it depends what you want a truck for. alfuh i know you want to beable to beat on your truck a lot and prob dont care to much for luxury so a 1st gen suits you,

on the other hand if you dont beat the piss out of your truck and only wheel it from time to time and you care about a quiter ride, then yeah a 2nd gen is for you.

I love my 1st gen but i beat the piss out of it when i go out and it holds up to what ever i throw at it.

 

My needs have changed and seeing those prices,either high or low, show a change might happen....

An AWD RX Lexus or a 4-Runner 4x4 might be in the mix....needs to be able to tow the Boat .
