It's not a used bumper, it's brand new. And I'm not factoring in gas, but if someone was to order a pelfreybilt bumper and ship it, it would still cost more than what I asked. If someone wants to do that, I support their decision. I however am still selling mine for the price I asked.

I appreciate your feedback. If anyone feels the price is unfair, they by no means have to buy it.

 

I personally think savings is savings, no shame in trying to recoup shipping costs, if I'm saving money, i'm happy, if the item is in brand new condition, it is still technically brand new. if you buy new tires and never mount them, they are still brand new. if you have tires that are mounted and used, and are LIKE new, they are NOT new.

 

New and never used aren't the same thing.

 

Exactly. I'm selling a never fired shotgun, but I'm not expecting to make 100% of that back.

Agreed. Personally I'd list just the price+shipping, not combined, but that's just me.

 

Brand new or new ends after the first retail sale. Endless examples of purchases which were made and never used, but cannot be considered new could be made.

TacoTRD311's pricing and rationalization is fine if the market supports it. He says he has a pending sale, so someone agrees him, and is willing to pay for the convenience of being able to immediately procure the bumper with a discount on shipping and taxes. I'm glad for him.

I did a little homework on this (appears to be ARB Deluxe Bull Bar with Fog Cutouts (Model # 3433130) and negotiation with the seller. I have not made the trip to see it, as not sure it is worth even the lower, negotiated cost, gas, with loss of my time. Others, closer than I am, might consider differently. Actual location is in Lutz. Seller did not provide additional pictures of bottom and back to help verify what was missing.

It appears it is missing the Bracket Mount Assembly (p/n 3756781 $150.00), the Left Bracket Tension (3756794L $24) and the Right Tension Bracket (3756794R. $24). There are also, literally, 100 nuts, bolts and washers associated with those assemblies. Not sure which ones might be missing, but replacements could probably be sourced readily from local hardware stores. ARB USA currently does not have the three primary pieces in stock, and no timeline fur when they might be available.

There are no fog lights included. The turn signal lights and winch were reported as "working when it was removed". The winch is missing a remote ($24.00 for Smittybuilt replacement).

Hope this helps someone. Please conduct your own research to verify, as I was going off of what seller and my limited knowledge and sources provided.

 

Thanks for all the research. Looks like someone pulled the unit off a wrecked truck and is trying to make some money from it. IMHO those things are almost impossible to install correctly without the original install parts. Maybe worth some money if you have a damaged ARB bar and just need the bumper.

What color is the surround? Or is that matte black too.
