I have a used Rugged Cover 2.0 for a Second gen up for grabs. It is ok shape with a few dings, I replaced a broken latch and have new foam blocks for it. I'd like to get 350 OBO for it and it is located in the Villages and I'd prefer local pick up.

Looks mint but I think that price is pretty freekin outrageous.

I'd not pay more than $22k.

Mine was in just as good of shape when I bought it granted it did have 100k more miles and 5 more years but they were all highway miles of a college girl driving 500 miles home every weekend and I only paid $14k.

 

Yea I thought it was salty and after consulting with a couple more folks gonna give that one a pass. Oh well....it's a want not a need I'll stumble on one at some point.

 

You purchased your truck in what year 2016/2017? Pre runners are going for 2nd gen 25,000. It being a trd offroad in mint condition well taken care off its worth it. Doesnt have to pay dealer fees. 2nd gens are more desirable than 3rd. Just my .02 centsI think he could talk him down at 1500 OTD at 26,500 fuck yeah Id do it

Just trying to clean out the garage and have a bunch of shit laying around. Only thing I figure it's probably smart to hang on to is my stock suspension in case something comes up in the future.

 

I bought my truck in 17, for $14k, it is a 2010 TRD Off-Road when I got it it was in really good condition and had a camper shell, only thing wrong was high mileage, about about 165k IIRC. In the glovebox was a binder with all records from the one previous owner, I actually spoke to him a little bit, he bought it new special ordered (6 speed) at the dealer I got it from, put about 5k miles a year on it for the first four years, then gave it to his daughter for college and even though she was in another state she drove home every weekend and racked up the miles quick but it was meticulously maintained then traded it in on a Tundra when his daughter got a more fuel efficient car.

I couldn't have asked for a better truck, though sometimes I do feel bad about all the mods and cutting and trail riding and trail stripes etc I've done to it.



I guess there's some credit towards 2nd gen prices going up given the dealer offered me $16k to buy it back 6 months after I bought it that was during the 3rd gen 3rd members exploding debacle.

Still can't see me ever parting with my truck, when it's time for a new truck this one's becoming a trail rig.

 

I think I paid around $33,000 for my 2015 brand new.
