I did. I have no idea what to do. don't know if my card, or wife could handle it though. 10 sites at 40 bucs thats 400 bones...correct me if i'm wrong..if it's cheaper i might be able to handle it..mike if you have a contact number i can call and check it out.

Be updated so we know forsure how many sites we need

OOOOOHH! Actually, that is funny! The German Shepherd is reading a book titled BITCHES. I just didn't get what that sign meant. I guess that's funny too!

So you are the closest? I can pay it up front but I NEED for everyone to PayPal me their share ASAP.

    Agreed Nicko.

There are currently 15 people listed to attend, this number typically increases as we get closer to the meet. Based on the last couple BIG citrus meets, I think 10 is a safe number. It's supposed to be 2 per site. The money due per camper will be figured out just before the meet when the numbers are finalized.

My thought would be, whoever does step up, if you are camping at least 1 night, send that person $20 via paypal and that should cover it and then some. This will help pay for some gas for whoever does take care of it. And if need he we can make adjustments at the end to make sure it's fair all around. That's just my .02 if it's worth anything.

That sounds like it could work out. Now we just need someone to step up and run with it.

    OK. Help me with this.
    2 "what" per site?
    2 trucks?
Is it $20 or $40 per night?

    OK. Here's the deal.

I will do the 9 hour round trip (my house, Citrus, & back home) on Thursday or Friday of this week coming up.

I will pay for all the sites once I am there.

I will provide everyone who is attending my email address (& phone) for reimbursement.

Folks, with a wife, 2 boys, a job & all the things that come with those my time is pretty limited. I have vacation from 10/27 - 11/03 but only Thursday or Friday to go to Citrus. I have a house project & other plans for the rest of the days. Most likely it will be Thursday. Please help me make this as efficient as possible and please don't make me regret this. I read a post somewhere about a previous Citrus meet where someone was "stuck with the bill" basically. I don't want to be that guy.

PS. If anyone wants to chip in with some gas money that would be cool. If not, then at least reimburse me for the site rental.

BTW, My wife & I will camp for one night (fri-sat).

If anyone else can go and they are closer then go ahead. I can still cover the sites.

tac1 keep us updated man, I would make the ride with you but I have to work those days, and you already

I think you might be jumping the gun a bit on this. Seems to me that a 9 hour drive isn't worth it just to reserve some sites. Fact is, this thread was all a buzz a while back (when we were starting it) and all of the sudden there are, what, 4 off us chatting in it right now??? Being that far away I wouldn't do it.

I can see if no one chimes in after a day, but we have been talking about this for almost a week and no one else seems to give a damn. I am starting to think, if this meet is to happen, we should just try for Holder Mine (the other camp site) and hope for the best. That one is first come first serve. I just hate to see any one of us stuck with paying that much. Just seems weird that we have been going on about it and no one else has commented all of the sudden.

You said almost the exact thing (word for word) that my wife did. You are both absolutely right! It seems as if we are trying for something that no one cares about for some reason. I'm gonna hold off on that since no one else has chimed in.

I only hope that more people decide to go. I can atleast put the money up front then but someone else will have to go. If not, then it is what it is.

After this week, I won't have another weekday off until the week of the Citrus meet.

    Thanks for making sense.

    Lets see what happens.

I don't think it's a big deal to change the camp site as it is still inside citrus. My only concern would be the "first come" aspect I the other sites. But again, we might be jumping the gun a bit in this. But much like Nicko, I'm all in. My so is going crazy without camping for so long and I love my yearly trip to citrus.

We still have some time. I'd rather do tillis hill if possible. Maybe pm the guys on the list to make sure their schedule is clear 3-5 and have everyone prepay.

Thank You. I just want to make my wife & I's first camping trip as awesome & glitch/issue free as possible.

THANK YOU! My scenario exactly! I have this coming week of vacation for house work & stuff & I already reserved the week ending on the date of the Citrus meet.

You see? I didn't even know that there was more than one camp site in there. I thought that Citrus & Tillis Hills were exactly the same. As long as it has some 2WD friendly trails then I'm in.

Sounds good to me. I am currently at work so my Internet access is limited. If you guys agree on the change & someone could please PM the guys (ALL OF US INCLUDED SO NO MIS-COMMUNICATION) then I would greatly appreciate it.

    :)

I just wish that we could get a solid "YES or "NO" as to who is going. Like Toyota Tech31 said, it's just 4 of us even talking about it.

My thoughts exactly. Push comes to shove we will still have the meet. Even if it's smaller. I look forward to going to citrus at least once a year. BTW Anthony, sending you a pm.

Lets make a new thread where you have to pm the thread starter to get added to the list. Hows that sound Jason? That way we know for certain how many sites we need. I would do that but I don't have the freedom to keep up with it.
