sick pictures. i was told that c-123 crash wasn't there 6 years ago. anyways id love to know the stories behind all the cool stuff left on the range. I've been to that navy jet too. not sure where that railroad track is? if you're ever feeling risky, the bomb range is a sick site to check out. but don't stay too long...

Been there since January 25, 1968.

25 January 1968 – A Hurlburt Field-based C-123K Provider, 55-4518, c/n 20179, of the 4408th Combat Crew Training Squadron, 4410th Combat Crew Training Wing,[274] crashes on approach to Duke Field, the airframe coming down on the Eglin reservation ~1/2 mile from the runway threshold. All 4 on board are killed.[275] The wreckage is abandoned in situ. The battered wings, tail section, and other small debris still there in 2012.

Damn....apparently I haven't been getting notifications for this thread....wtf lol. You guys should def hit up that citrus meet in Feb! I'm going, it's a hell of a lot of fun! It is a bit of a drive though lol. We do need to get another meet together, my truck is pretty much offroading capable again with the new tires. I have a 6-1/2 month old Husky and he got fixed yesterday lol

Bilsteins on front and rear, OME 885 coils, Wheeler's AAL with overload left in, LR UCA's, Stock TRD 17" wheels, 255/75-17 BFG KM tires, VIPMOTOZ headlights, Lifetime LED headlight bulbs, 6000K LED Fog bulbs, Jumper's Interior and license plate LED's, Husky Classic floor mats, OEM bed mat, Leer100R truck shell with carpeted platform, de-badged, white derped grill emblem.
Anybody in the area that would be willing to help a brotha out hooking up a Kenwood double din DVD stereo head unit in an 08? No steering wheel controls. I've got the wiring harness, dash kit, etc. also have a license plate frame backup camera to hook up with it.

I'd be willing to pay...just not as much as Kens Car tunes and Best Buy want to charge me.

If you're interested, I've also got an LED bed light kit and some Rigid reverse lights with switches that I need to hook up.

@Alfuh your pup looks pissed at you for removing his manhood! Haha! Yea I talked to the ol' lady about hitting up the Citrus meet, I still have some persuasion to do but hopefully we will be out there too. @DeTako is wanting to hit the range this weekend and I think I'll be able to head out too. I'm not sure where exactly he wants to go. My buddy picked up an 88 YJ that he wants to take out but he wants to check it and make sure its FMC before we head out. We wanna try and find that wrecked C-123 that's south of Duke but if everyone else wants to go somewhere else we may head out with you guys.

I don't have a preference. I haven't been on the range (other than training), so I don't really know what to expect. I'm free on Saturday until 3pm and all day Sunday. I live in Navarre.

Everyone who's interested in the range needs to download an app called "Avenza PDF Maps". Click on "find maps" and download the range maps.

This will create an overlay of the range map over your GPS. Really useful.

It's pretty straight forward to install the head unit. I was confused with mine but literally all the wires are color coded and match each other. I got mine installed the other day along with speakers front and rear

I tried downloading that app @DeTako but my iTunes was effin up, I'll try again later. I don't really have a preference on where we go but hopefully my buddy's YJ's 4x4 is workin so he can head out with us too. If not I may be spending the weekend troubleshooting with him. If it does work, does anyone else want to join Felix, my buddy and I out there this weekend? I'm just stoked to finally get out on the range and see a '16 in person!

Sounds good! Let me know how ya like the app.

I'll be sticking to the cleared out mud/dirt roads this weekend. If we get in a situation where we have to go through thick brush... I might park it and jump in with someone else. Eventually I'll gain the courage to scratch it up, just not yet.

It shouldn't be an issue. We're only allowed to stick to roads with vehicles and most of the roads are just mud.

I finally got it downloaded, its pretty sweet man! Yea mine isn't new but its new to me, hopefully I wont be getting any custom Florida Pinstripes on my nice pretty paint but if it happens it happens! From what the guys that saw the C-123 it looks like its pretty far in there so I'm down for just romping around and hittin the mud. I'll PM you my number in case I'm not on the forum and you try and get a hold of me.

Damn. All these pics and stories and im just sitting here like.... Can I have my vehicle back yet? I have a dual sport and trail bike as well, but depending how deep that "mud" is, then I may have to pass on that excursion. However, I could be persuaded to bring the bikes up there to hit some trails with you guys until my taco is returned.

I am down at Tyndall, so it is not a far drive/ride by any means.
