I think I am done messing with it. I don't see why someone can't just cut it off and weld on a new mount. I would have to get that relocation kit welded on regardless.

All I can think of is heat and some kind of wedge you could hammer in there.

I think you are right but they certainly have the part because it is welded onto the axle. Their fix is a "3 hour" fix. They heat it and bend it back. Then reheat it to where it turns orange and quench the metal to return it to its original strength. Finally they paint it. At this point I don't know what else to do.

Thanks for finding that. Comparing the two mounts I am not sure how that would work. I guess they could just cut a portion of the mount and weld that bad boy on.

I'd be down for something, hopefully I can have the 80 somewhat "done" by this weekend lol. since Ill be pulling the trans for the throwout bearing, collar, clutch fork, and slave cylinder, figured id might as well replace the clutch and pressure plate just to be sure lol. Id love to take the 80 out for a spin IF i can get everything done lol, if not, the tacoma will be brought out hehe

You'd have to grind the old mount completely off so the axle is a clean tube to use those.

Alright gents I have a question! I am going to be putting on a SOS bumper here in the near future. They weigh~115-130 lbs. How do you think my stock suspension is going to hold it up? I'm expecting some sag but is it going to be a ridiculous sag? I'm planning on doing suspension first before I put on a winch.

Ha! Maybe one day. I just don't feel like dealing with returning what I got and getting new ones. I'll ride this out for a while and see how I feel about it.

there will be suspension sag, being stock I think it will be about an inch or more on the stock coils. Im not sure....thats just a guess, but expect that it to be a good bit since those coils arent meant for weight
