I think it's all internal. Thought extended just had the stops removed or something so you're supposed to run straps or get your bumps sorted out asap.

Even if these are the 12" ones I can still run a good mid travel lift after I get all the other stuff right? Just wanna make sure I don't have to send to Fox to get them rebuild to 14"

Not sure what the 12 and 14 business is. Im pretty sure most non Long travel coilovers are like 6-7 inches of travel. This translates to 8-9 inches of travel at the wheel. The extended travel(not long travel) usually have an extra inch of droop travel, that is what requires the aftermarket UCA.

You may want to check the part number on those to be sure they fit on the second gen. The Icon and King coilovers for first gens have the short bottom end, like the ones in the pic you posted. Im not sure about the Fox, but Id check before ripping your truck apart.

I'm pretty sure it's real easy to do those as well. If you guys want, when nelson gets his bumper we can set up a mod day and do a bunch of things or something

I may just end up doing it up here in Crestview and enlist one of my friends to help out. It should ship out today and when it gets here I still have to get it sprayed with bedliner. I'm just playing it by ear though, I'll let you guys know if anything changes. Hey Alfuh, what winch are you running? I think when I start making that deployment money here in a few months I'm going to snag one up. I've been lookin at the Smittybilts.

Helical teeth for forward gears, straight cut for reverse, which is why reverse makes that whiny noise. Also why racing "dogbox" trannies whine in all forward gears, straight cut teeth.

    ...the more you know..lol

Shouldn't be too bad of a job since you're not getting into the main gears and synchros.
