Shit, after that long I'd kinda forget about it. Then I'd get super freaking excited when it shows up! I'm basically a goldfish.

Ouch @Outlaw89! Are you going to get an aftermarket bumper with the insurance money? I thought I had it bad... At least mine is still driveable! :sorry:

Thanks for the offer shenanigans, we will see how it goes when it arrives. I'll be out of town this weekend but we need to all get together and go rip up the range! :mudding:

Hello everyone! Decided I should register to meet more Tacoma people. There are enough of them driving around Panama City; there should be a club or something.

@EatSleepTacos, I made it to the spot on the map you had pinned where your buddy got a carpet wash. A couple small holes before that, but there was still a long water hole there. I was solo with no winch so decided to turn around. I got about halfway out and wanted to get a pic, but had a meeting to get to. I was going to post a googlemaps pic with a pin, but it was exactly the same as the one you posted. Cool area, I hadnt been down there before. Would like to make it to that beach sometime.

Smart move! I wouldn't risk it by myself. We ended up going back to that spot a few weeks later to try and conquer it. Once you get past the first big water hole, there are 2 more that are even worse! We all made it there just fine (and the beach is awesome) but on the way back I ended up getting stuck in the middle hole. I just picked the wrong line. I got some water in the cab but I just ripped apart my interior and let my carpet dry out for a week. Thank GOD I put my lift on before, or it would've been much worse. I'm definitely hesitant to go back that way until it dries out more.

Yup. From the small lake before the road, it looks like it will always be a little wet down there, but I will wait until the holes are a little smaller before trying it. Especially solo w/o a winch.

When we eventually get together and all head out there, we can check it out so you can go through and have us to pull you out just in case. When I got stuck, I got pulled out no problem since we were more prepared and had proper straps.

I would like to join the group next time an adventure is planned. My truck is all stock, so hopefully nothing too extreme.

Three weeks ago the family and I were out adventuring in Apalachicola national forest and got stuck in a water hole. Luckily, the water was right at the bottom of the door and didn't get in. The children are still hesitant about going driving the woods. We were on a Sunday drive and went into the Econfina Creek WMA, they were pretty unsettled in-spite of the hard packed roads were driving on.
