howdy howdy! My names Joe, I'm an active duty Machinery Technician in the USCG. Married with 2 kids. I got my 1997 Toyota Tacoma extended cab ,4x4, 279K+ miles, 18shades of red, custom rack, back from my pops. Parked it at his place in late 2005, when I bought my diesel, then left for the coast guard in 2006. he drove it on and off until about 2011. He parked it back in the yard and drove it whenever he had an issue with one of his trucks... So occasionally for the past 5yrs. In its life it was a replacement for a totaled first truck in high school, a farm truck, a huntin truck, a land truck and at one point it sat for 8 months... Then Started right up. He tuned her up and drove her from Clute, Texas to my house in Chesapeake, Va after we transferred to our new duty stations here. I forgot how much fun this lil Toyota was. Soo the bad....Rear leafs are shot, coil overs need to be replaced and she needs either paint or whole body Line-X and other lil mods. Glad to have found this site so I can pick y'all's brains. If you need diesel help let me know.image.jpg
