That why I said almost:D Yeah it wouldn't ever be 100% but if the other 3 lost most of their traction you could possibly see as much as 90% of that torque on 1 with traction.

From what I understand 1st gens and 2nd gens have the same rear ends, so it is odd that 2nd gens have problems. It is just the TRD offroads with the factory locker. The housing is weaker and will flex slightly under force causing the R&P to mis-align enough to break teeth... One theory has to due with the 2nd gens having more power, but if that is the case, then all the S/C 1st gen TRD's should be just as plagued too.

Well that other part is a given. If only one wheel has traction and the vehicle can easily move forward then no issues. haha

Odds are no. It will only really come in to play if you are heavy on the throttle.

The hinge is just stiff. And the weight if them for now. However I have a roof rack tie down thing ill use when it's all done.

But again ill have them up most the time. Only time they will be down is when I know ill be going on the high way. So they should be fine I'd think. But I'll have the tie downs anyways just in case.

    Thanks man!

    Looking good buddy!

But why did you run the angle iron upside down?? Its just going to collect snow and water now..

I have been waiting for someone to ask that.

I basically made this rack exactly upside down from my last on. Last time I had it so the point was facing up. Amd the outer rails had the flat side down. I reversed it for the simple reason of more surface for the grating to sit on, making it mor safe.

Wage and snow are going to be avoid by a few small holes drilled in the rails :)

ok, cool. You could have also run the angle iron on its side so you have a flat surface for the expanded metal to sit on
