It would be for a 1st gen. haha Unless you went with the 4.7 crawlbox then it would be even slower. haha

Yeah 4.7 for me too. If you are going to get a crawl box might as well get one that can really crawl. haha

Well..an 8 something compound ratio is still pretty slow haha but 12.4 is better

What is 12.4 taking into account of? In first gear I hit 240:1 to one from tranny to tires. Torque converter will add in a tire bit but I don't know what the numbers are for it. You're would probably be similar with 4.88's since your first gear is lower than mine, but my transfer case is lower than yours, I think anyway. 1st gen cases are 2.28:1 aren't they? or are they the same as 2nd gens at 2.567:1?

    They are 2.28 I believe

Sorry I meant a 12.4:1 compound for the tcase. Idk what final ratio is

You just multiply the gears together. My first gear is 3.52, tcase is 2.567, crawlbox would be 4.7 and diffs are 4.88, multiply them together and you get, oh my bad, haha, 207. I think 240 is for n0rth's rig since he has a different 1st gear ration than I do.

I know he is. That's why his is different than mine. His first gear is like 3.8 or 4.1 or something. Same as yours I think.

    Yours are 2.28, 4.7, 4.88 and I don't know first gear. haha

Prepped the bed rails for some bed liner. Also started making a switch plate for the truck.

Yea I found a scrap piece of aluminum to use. Gonna mount them under the CD player. I didn't want to at first as I wanted a double din for a reverse camera. But I decided to get one with the screen that folds out as a double din would be kinda low for me.

Yes I'm going to get 12" shocks and relocate them similar to Silas.

I see. I just discovered my right shock hit on my leaf spring at sometime when i had it flexxed and it dented the body so now the shock is kinda fubar. I think it lost all the nitrogen so the dampening is shitty. I really wanna relocate now.

It's not easy to do but can be worth it. Do some research on how you want them to sit and such. And length of shocks ect.

Although I see you have skyjacker shocks and that happened to my dads too. So could just have been the thicker body. A 5100 or something might not as much.
