    yah marine batteries, Ive been looking for suitable alternator replacement, the 400's weigh 135lb a piece the 200's are 78lbs


    they are roughly 1ft tall by 1ft long by 5" wide, would be a nice set-up for the front corners, its that or I pick up a couple more PC1500's

    the ability to run 800 minutes of fridge action would be pretty awesome, im honestly probably going to be running three batteries in the near future, and none of them under the hood, I dont know what kind of room ill have in the hood soon, with the 37's on

    Why tho? I don't ever plan on having my truck with a fridge running in one spot for that long.

    I'd doesn't seem worth it to me. But go for it man! Haha

    For the 6 lug 2nd gens (so 4x4's and Prerunners), V6's have 3.73's and 4 cyl's have 4.10's factory.

    I am half tempted to tell you to got with 4.88's over 4.56's but you will run a pretty high rpm on the freeway even on 35's.

    n0rth is a 4 cyl manual with 4.88's but he is also on 36's which helps a little with the higher rpm.

    I will I have lots of pics for you mike. I also have tweaked how to wire it up as ill carry my stock for a spare so it'll go right in no problem.

    Skids are off to bolt up stuff. But might start building them now. They are pretty beat up. I might have bent one of the bolt mounts too

    Also even thou all the write ups say you just need a powerstearing belt for the new large alternator..didn't work for me. Still to short. So since you have to pull all the belts anyways I'm getting all new belts and will keep the current ones for spares as they aren't super old.

    But I need at least an inch longer belt.

    Good plan to be able to easily go back to stock. I would guess it would be a trail fix if it has to happen.

    My BB front skids only mount at 7 points. It does not use the 2 between the LCA and radiator, which ones of yours are damaged?

    The ones that are the bolts that hold both the front and mid stock skid.

    And yea. They way I wired it. Will just be an easy plug and couple bolts. Will be nice insurance.

    The stock skids wont take much abuse, including to mounting hardware. I really like the way the BBs handle mounting

    Yea I have a bud built skid crossmember I'm gonna use. Jon gave it too me as he had an extra. Might use UHMW plastic for belly skid. Steel for front and mid. Unless I get a killer deal on a dropped piece of pre cut steel.
