Yea. Plus stronger front diff and cvs in a lighter rig..well...maybe not mine..but still.

When I get home gonna do some more measurements with my dads

Biggest issue is the spindles and hubs as our cvs go from 30 inner spline to 27 spline and 2nd gens are 30 spline all around. And the front diff is 1.5" wider on each side. So..who knows..

Need to think and plan a bit more first.

Yea and LCAs and UCAs possibly..

Or a gussested 2nd gen spindle and long ass UCAs and LCAs..could make for some interesting travel numbers. And huge lift..

The UCAs would need mounted up higher though too.

Ahh haha didn't see that. I'm not sure, those are cheaper but they're also older... I'll probably end up getting the Nikon. I'll go talk to the people at the store Tuesday and see if they do the payment plan on cameras...

I'd go for the t3i if you get one of those. Bit better then the t2i and has better video stuff. But not worth going to a t4i

I disagree to an extent. The t3i is more comfortable and ergonomic. It is better for video then the t2i.

So if those are important..it's worth it.

I guess for me as video was important it was worth it. But the t3i had better picture quality then the t4i...even tho it was very small.

They are basically the same camera though yes.

Just cause any more weight would break your scrawny neck :p

And I know it's the same sensor. But the flip out screen is a must for video IMO. But whatever. I don't care that much. I'm not getting either. Like I said..I'm getting the 60d

And Ben and I's friendship is based mostly on pointless bickering hahaha

Haha no, you're wrong! You have to get what he says is good :p

Because it's about twice the price! Haha Most say that for beginners it isn't worth the extra cost. I'm really hoping the store on base has one and does the payment plan so I can have one to take with my wheeling this Saturday!

Yea I can get it with the 18-135 as a kit lens. Then ill get the adaptor for my dads older fd lenses and play with those. Won't be wide since it'll be a cropped sensor still and the adaptor adds another 1.6x to the focal length. But the 100-200mm should be cool.

    And yes...wide lens..
