IIRC you're only 300 lbs more than me and we'll have essentially the same set up.

    With a snatch block the m8000 will do 16k... that's a lot...

Man, that's not good! Sorry to hear that. Definitely not something you hear very often happening with Bilstiens, or would expect out of them for that matter either.

You think that it was from over compressing them though? Have you talked with DS or Bilstein directly about this and had their opinions or talked warranty?

You've got me wondering now about getting longer bump stops.

go warn or ramsey, American made...only way to go!

The Ramsey Patriot 8000 looks like a super nice setup similar to the warn m8000.

Unless you do a lot of offloading..i think your fine.

    Does suck tho..

huh ill have to look into that Ramsey one. If it comes with synthetic line it could be tempting.

I Also go to work on the truck a bit. Took of the front wheel and went to town on the wheel wells with a hammer. Beat the hell out em. Think i gained almost an inch so hopefully i won't be shredding my lovely KM2s while turning anymore.

I also took off the fender flares..i really like the look actually

I don't think the m8000 or the ramsey comes with syn line. I know they offer some that does come equipped with syn line. I like the Ramsey's personally because they advertise they make all their winches in the USA. Warn still does but I think they are gradually outsourcing parts because they no longer advertise their winches are made in the USA.

The M-8000 does come with a synthetic line, That's what I have on my truck and it is made in the USA.
