    It doesn't have to be down a year :spy: but it will be a while. I do have to say it's not jus throwing a turbo on there, there's a lot more work to it and then you have to track down problems that show up and all other kind of crap. And thats coming from my experience with the 240 (which was only custom intercooler/tube routing)

    you will need to fly in monte every weekend for months AFTER its "done" to constantly work on it and tune it and fix the little things

    but more so you need to realistically be able to build the thing by your self, if not how do you ever hope to fix it if something goes seriously wrong? And guess what even very well built turbo set ups eat shit every now and then.

    Make sure your workspace is comfy... a radio/sound system is a good idea. I've spent more time in my garage than i thought i would... nice lighting and a radio makes a huge difference, also concrete floors are a must, or that rubber tile stuff is nice. It's the little stuff :D

    Just pulled the front diff. Mother of fucking god what a pitfa. Couldn't get the fill or drain plugs off. Mounts where a bitch. Just...what a bitch.

    So pissed I don't have lockers. Doing this twice is gonna suck.

    Couldn't get the drain? I always have trouble with that 10 mm allen socket thing. Not sure why its so hard.

    Also, agree a 100% on not messing with the engine for best dependability. Stock is best.

    Ya I've tried a number of times with head phones. Just doesent work. Always rip em out when I'm trying to think or they also get caught on stuff.

    And that's what I thought on the expo thing but didnt say anything. High hp turbo motor and reliable long distance off road expo truck don't really go together, sorry. It just doesent

    It's a 12 for the drain and 10 for the fill.


    Yea big boost especially custom..not always the smartest idea.

    Sc is okay long as you don't over do it IMO.

    Yea freaking sucked. Now can't figure out how to get the carrier off the clam shell

    Mine fucking stripped with very little torque applied, i fucking hate allen sockets. I've gotta weld a bolt to it to get it off, did it for another local member too who had stripped his.
