Funny. I would've never guessed those track saw clamps could apply enough force for that.

So, if it's not too much salt in the wound, will you do a write-up of what to avoid and what to make sure to have for those of us who might be brave/stupid enough to try this in the future?

The clamps only provide force to hold the plates in place. The 20 ton press provides the force to separate the pinion from the bearing.

I won't do a full write per say..but I will do a summary/synopsis type deal and consolidate all the photos and give my thoughts and points and links to references I used. But not till I'm done :p

Had to work OT today so could run to Toyota to see if they had a nut for me

Nope not really. Cvs limit it. Welcome to ifs.

Why do you want it higher?

Small update of front diff. Can't get the BL right on it. Going to have to swap the carrier bearing spacers to move the ring gear in. But then e pinion is too deep so going t have to pull the pinion out. It's my last option to try. Otherwise, thank you Yukon for once again NOT INCLUDING SHIMS FOR THE CARRIER BEARING FUCK YOU VERY MUCH! Ill have to order custom shims again.

    Also to Spain! Fifa!

Finally got the diff in spec. Wear looks decent. Coast is perfect. Drive looks a tiny bit shallow but everything else is good.

Took apart the pinion 4 times. What a pita. Should be driving it tonight!

    Hey man,

You got any suggestions on adding a leaf to the Wheeler's 6 packs?

After my rear bumper and shackles mine have flattened out.

Not really..haha I just got lucky with mine that it fit right. I used a pretty damn beefy leaf and added it inbetween the main leaf and second leaf.

Ask me again in 500 and 1000 miles...
