    You think its a good investment to go from 33's to 35's? I'm considering when my current tires wear down but not sold yet. 37's seems a bit big for the 7.5"...

    IMO if you have to ask if it's worth it, you probably don't need it, and it's not really worth it.

    Certainly a fun project tho!

    Not around here I don't think I do but I plan to travel a bit more when I have the time. Shit, I can't even install a turbo kit right now :p

    For you? Probably not.

    33s are still the perfect tire for our trucks IMO. 35s are awesome don't get me wrong. But unless it's really a RIG then I don't think it is. For a dd/weekend warrior. 33s man.

    If your truck sees dirt like 80% of the time it's being drive and it's all trails. 35s are nice.

    37s will be interesting..but then maybe I'll just end up doing a custom 8" at some point...who knows haha

    Well..hasn't stopped me yet. Look at all the places I still go with no problems. I have the suspension flex and weight to get by. Been a few places where a locker would have been nice but I just know how to pick my lines now.

    Why not at least weld the rear? Cheap and effective. Or at least a lunchbox locker... I ran one DD for years, never had a problem.

    x2, i would just get left behind on the trails out here if i was open open lol. Being ifs is bad enough, literally no other ifs rigs that I know of wheeling the trails I am. its all SA, and mostly jeeps

    My fronts would lift periodically. My rear is hard to make lift a tire. Drops a 35 below the slider.

    I'm looking forward to lockers though no doubt. Just $$$$$$$$

    Oh man I lift all the time. Not for a lack of travel though :cool:
    But I'll give you the weight thing. Certainly helps with forced articulation. I would flex out way better if I had that much weight in the rear. However if I had as much stuff in the back as you I would have probably rolled by now, or at least ripped it all off.

    I just need to add 350ish pounds of lead weight to the rear and I'll be good
    Casually dropping a 35 below the slider ain't that hard lol:p
    But he's right probably a bit trickier with your 2nd gen

    I don't think its that easy. Ben can even drop a 32 below his sliders on stock stuff.

    You had to hack out your leaf hangers and put in other leafs to do it.

    Idk how mine does it as good as it does considering what's done to it..but I'm not complaining haha

    2nd gens usually have to do a shackle flip. But I don't think that's worth it really
