    Actually, I'm kinda bummed. I thought I had dodged a bullet when Toyota stopped selling them. :cool:

    I heard that $3K is LCEs normal price for the kit and the 3 year warranty is nice too but that price is $300 more than the kit was from TRD I think. Then, if you add it all the fuel stuff from URD your getting real close to $4K. :annoyed:

    Yea but more will still show up and more used ones.

    Gotta pay to play man..Id say just turbo it, but turboing is not reliable like the SC. Too much custom stuff and too much can go wrong. I don't think i have seen a single turbo setup that is problem free..

    Hard to say. Seems unlikely tho. I struggle with this decision and have for a while. Its not very practical. Its a lot of cash to do it right and not create other issues. And generally means higher fuel costs too.

    Have to run Premium. And after i took The FRV up Goose lake and had to fill it twice with premium...i was not a fan of the idea..haha of course FRV was getting 5mpg...so that didn't help.

    I know i really want more power for up hill sections. I was dying for more on a lot of the up hill stuff we did. Was going damn near deaf staying at 4k rpms the whole time. Then hit a switchback and hardly be able to accelerate because 1st gear was too high and 2nd too low. More oomph!

    the SC is tempting indeed. I really which i could drive a rig with one before committing to one.

    You know what would happen. You'd fall in love with the boost and would have to have it.

    Yes, a switchback followed by a steep section is enough to make one wish for more power but I also wonder whether an additional 50 hp is enough in that situation. Then there is also the issue of trans temps. In particular, fluid temps from more torque converter slip. As fat as the redhead is, I am already pushing the upper edge at times, in terms of fluid temps.

    Remember that CEL I got? Turns out it has something to do with the trans fluid condition. It hasn't come back, but still worrysome.

    I did add that cooler and it did improve things but adding more hp will only stress that system more. Also, I used the largest passive cooler that would fit in the space.

    That is where it is. On the passenger side in front of the radiator. I had to move one of the horns to make room. Can't do it on the driver side because the A/C lines are there. And can't go any lower because the bumper and winch stuff is in the way.

    No the AC lines are right there. You already have it routed by the AC lines.

    Id think you could get something bigger in there. If you did the Satoshi that maybe used the BAMF light bracket to mount it you could double or triple the length. Or make some sort of mount for it. The lines could stay on that side and it would just be the full width of the grill. But you'd have to do the satoshi to clear the horn and hood latch.

    Not more than the two mishimotos..

    15x7.5 and 20x7.5 both are .75 thick.

    Thats 79.75 vs 112.5 vs 150. Almost twice the surface area for the bigger one..

    Mounting wouldn't be that hard. Just a couple of brackets.

    Only other way you could do it is in the bed with a fan too. And i know you don't want to do that either.

    so suck it up princess and deal with it :D :luvya:

    Obviously doing a manual swap is the easier choice at this point...:D
