    Yea I know they are nice. Other then seemingly gernading more ring gears then the 8.4 diff...kinda odd actually..

    Id run an arb. Not really for the locker itself just for the stronger spider gears. Front lockers don't reaaaalllyy help a ton on our rigs. Do on occasion. But not as often as you'd think. The rear is the most useful.

    Ahhh yes. That little bugger is a bit of a bitch haha

    It's held in with a snap ring. Get two long sturdy screw drivers and pry up on it from under the teeth. It'll pop out, but will take more force then you'll be comfortable with at first haha

    Was totally gonna do that but was afraid of messing it up haha alright sounds straight forward.

    So I'm swapping clamshells when I put the leg that goes into that gear is there a special way or does it just drop in?

    The other clamshell didn't come with that part??? Definitely takes more force then you'd want to just..try haha

    Yea it just pops right back in, i mean, you have to line the gear up but other wise just use a rubber mallet and give it a whack. or us a block of wood and normal hammer.

    Yeah he included it but the one in my clamshell seems way cleaner so I wanted to use mine. So just line it up in the splines like a cv and just pound the bitch in? Then bolt on the leg? Nothing has to be put in a specific spot?

    Yea pretty much. That is the part that the ADD yoke slips over. So it'll lock when its lined up.

    That part is in the tube you bolt on.

    Make sure you add some FIPG to it before bolting in on. Clean all the old stuff off too. Try not to get it in the diff itself.

    Yeah fipg is the sealent right? Hey can I use that same shit with my oil pan cause I'm installing a new oil pan? Also does the oil pan need a aftermarket gasket a silicone or just the sealent no gasket?


    Also off topic are your rims 3.75 back space? Mine are 3.5 just wondering if I'll be the same width as use with the LT kit
