Actually, I had a couple of thoughts about how the packer/viking game went down last week. In spite of all the rah, rah, rah coming outa the packer camp before the game, I think they dropped that game just so they could play the redskins this weekend. Beating the vikings twice, especially twice in a row might be a challenge.

It remains to be seen whether the Hawks are up to that challenge.

Actually, it doesn't have to be those exact dates. I was trying to make a point and ask for what I need.

IMO, that is the ideal time to visit Moab. The heat and crowds have subsided and the snow has not come back yet.

FWIW, this year it was in the 90s from the last week in September thru the fist week in October. Then the following week it cooled down a bit. Was mid 70s to low 80s. Sounds pretty good to me.

 

Canadian Rockies, or any higher mountain stuff, has to be August or thereabouts. Of course that is dependent on how harsh the Winter is. Obviously, a very large snow pack is going to take longer to melt away than a year like last year. You are correct in that it is way too soon for planning a two week adventure in the Canadian Rockies.

 

My job ends in October and then I'm off to la. So oct may work. Not super keen on 2 weeks off in August. Id rather flip it. Since I work may through September.

Any pictures of this installed? Trying to find some in hopes of mounting two kayaks on the roof and a wind fairing since my RTT sits up so high.
