haha, yep. Everything is going well man. I'm really digging Frankenstein. Love the LT.

My brother still has the 97. He has big plans for it. LT, ARB locker and 35's in the near future. I'm trying to get him to make an account and keep up the build thread but he's a 45 year old man stuck in a 19 year old's body. No social media or forums for him. Oh well. Since he's had it he's put on rock sliders and did the first clutch in the truck's life (at 195,000 miles). I'll snap some pictures and put them up in the old build thread page for old times sake.

I had to purchase a new set because the factory alloy nuts won't work w/ my new steel wheels. Didn't know if there was a standout brand so I figured I'd ask. I ended up ordering some Gorillas this morning lol

Oh right. Yea the alloy ones won't work. I don't like the gorilla ones due to the adapter and everyone seems to get them and have one haha just easier to keep them simple. But they work!

    Lol!

    Surprise!

I'll show him next time I see him. Frank will probably become his spirit animal. He is leaning toward the total chaos kit or camburg kit for his truck. Thoughts? I know both of those are great choices, but I've been away from the Tacoma scene for so long I couldn't confidently give him advice on other kits. How is the MCM kit in comparison to TC or camburg?

Also, is there still no option for manual hub tacomas or will he have to convert to ADD hubs?

All are good choices really. The MCM is fitted for ads shocks though and that is reason enough imo. Best shocks on the market imo. I don't think anyone makes a beefier LCA either. Thingis monsterous.

Each has different features that are nice though. CAMBURG uses heims in the LCA mounting points.

I have no regrets though and love my kit.

Yea manual hubs are a no go..sort of. You can swap the outer cv knuckle of a tacoma cv onto a tundra axle. But it's not worth it imo. Weaker tulip.

When you mated your 3rd to the housing did you use a gasket and rtv, or just rtv?
