Yea except all I did was drop the oil pan and put new bearings in haha

On that note, I wish our cv axles and front diff where still like the older trucks.

 

But dropping the oil pan is fun.... Not! I just did that last month.

 

Oh, I dropped the oil pan alright... and oil splashed everywhere. Just as I bent down to pick it up and muttered "I hate my life.", I smacked my head pretty good on the engine block.

Speaking of the engine, I dropped it off two(?) weeks ago at the shop so they could take measurements and tell me what I needed to replace. I hadn't heard a thing so I stopped by yesterday and they for some reason thought they were waiting for me to bring the cylinder head. Got the measurements and apparently the rings wallowed out the grooves on the pistons, so I ordered a set of LCE rings and pistons 0.020" over, along with new standard bearings.

Ha. Classic.

And sheesh. Miss communication.

Motor is gonna be in good shape after that. I'm sure ours needs that. But my parents want to sell it and get one with AC

 

Can't just add A/C? The '80 in Colorado Springs that I pulled the bed from still had the A/C. Kinda kicking myself for not grabbing that too.

 

Thought about it. But be pretty complex. Not really up for it at the moment. No time and it's not my truck haha. Would rather do a few things to Frank and Igor needs some love too

On that note. Bought a 1st gen gray supercharger. Big mod for the year. Rear shocks will wait

Don't worry. I know you're just starting to break in my turbo. I'm ready for it at any time. Just slap the SC on Igor after I get it from you

 

You won't even be able to use that boost with your shitty rear suspension.

Probably needs rebuilt. Missing parts too. But be a nice project.
