    They have it folded over seams everywhere. Just pull the door seal down and you'll see what I mean. They do that on the rear window too. The only way you could get it down to reinstall is take the rear window out. Then somehow peel it off then pop the 5 bars out then unbolt the front lip by the windshield.

    I said fuck it and cut it.

    I'll figure something else out for it later. Far from a beauty rig now anyways.

    Okay I need some help @SCRunner12 or anyone. I can not understand the vacuum stuff. I have lines that no diagram shows and it's asking to run shit that I don't have access too really.

    Any tips at all. The VSv valve that was tied into the FPR doesn't make sense. I don't have enough ports on this damn blower to hook everything up. Do I just T everything?

    I've been looking into the 2jz swap now that my current engine is fried. Like you, I've come to the conclusion that it will have to wait until I have the finances to throw at such a project.

    In terms of fab work, it seems to be a lot more friendly than a 1uz, 2uz, or 3uz swap.

    Bolts right up to the tranny. By comparision to those it's an easy swap. But still a 4-8k one.

    Yup.

    I got pretty excited because I found a 2jzgte vvti for 1400 in my local CL (which is still way too much for my current financial state, but a lot cheaper than what I have come across on Ebay). Then, I started crunching some numbers for the bell housing, shortened driveshaft, ecu and the harness... oh man that harness is pricey, especially if its a JDM to OBII conversion harness. Not to mention I have no idea what condition this engine was in. The guy said it only had 50k on it, but I bet you those were some hard 50k miles.

    It was plumbed into the FPR and then into the manifold..

    I have no idea wtf it is. It has a plug in it that goes into the wiring harness..


    Yea they are stout motors though.

    Id still tear it totally apart to check no matter where it came from.

    Shit adds up fast though.

    Can you get a pic of some different angles? I know the 95-97 3.4's were a little screwy and had different features that the later years.

    Yea I will tomorrow. It looks just like a VSV valve or the 4wd valves. And has a plug. Figured out everything but that.
