    From what I understand on the 5vz, you can boost at high miles and it can take it, Toyota did similar things as Volvo did by overbuilding and under powering the engine to gain longevity. Don't get me wrong in saying that doesn't mean abusing it and it can just take whatever you throw at it.

    130k shouldn't be anything. I know several with way higher miles then me with boost.

    No I've never needed to do a compression test.

    20 psi on the ko2 looked like 13 on the MTR...

    Since this seems to be a well of knowledge I figured I'd ask here... Since my truck is mainly just a DD and it rides like shit. Would standard travel coilovers be a good route for a decent ride? Mainly for shit dirt roads and all that. I originally wanted extended travel but it seems the price have gone up more than I remember.

    Extended travel isnt extra cost. Put you have to get UCA's.... so there is some added cost in that way

    The extended Kings and normal kings cost the same, same goes with Icons, but yah you'll need UCAs for any extended travel coilovers... I need UCAs now lol.

    Yeah I meant the cost of standard travel coilovers vs extended travel coilovers from the same manufacture and same size. From what I've seen there is no additional cost.

    No, going to get them rebuilt by DSM at some point and go extended. Kinda want some kings though, after reading about the different valving I think kings or ads would be better. Really wish I had the dough for ads:drool:

    You can have them valved however you please when you have them rebuilt. I'm gonna run mine for a bit then have them rebuilt, wanna get a feel for em first. I got extended travel already.

    Was wanting King extended travel with resis, but I'm seeing extended travel with 700# springs. Thought they were 600# lol so confused
