Nope. My wife cut off the funds for the truck. She wants a family trip this year and next year it's our 20th so I won't get to any mods for a while. Unless something breaks.

Oh, that's to bad you couldn't do holy cross. I know you where looking forward to that. Bummer :(. yeah I was trying to set something up with him in steamboat for Labor Day weekend. I'll keep texting him.

    Yea pretty bummed. Next time.

Also can't afford to fix Frank and keep Igor in top shape. Igor needs brakes and tires.

So unless a someone wants this blower and urd kit for 2k Frank is dead till I can afford a new front diff.

For sure, I was totally teasing, I don't have the cash flow for that man! I think my carrier bearing is out, so I just ordered one of them.. If it's not one thing it's another, having two cars is so nice, but man is it expensive. My dd needs brakes and tires aswell before snow!

Did you ever switch your spark plugs to the two stages cooler ones? Think they are the Denso ik22?

Yea i know :p Stupid money flow..

    Yea i have colder plugs.

Its odd. If i floor it at 3-4k you can hear the motor try harder and take more load but it doesn't really do anything. almost just decelerates.

Interesting, I keep thinking about it from time to time. I wonder if it's losing fuel pressure? Or is not really a sputtering feeling?

Have you tried running the stock pulley? There's very little that could be going wrong at only 5 psi, if you're seeing anything other than high gear/low rpm pinging I'd look elsewhere from the charger.

Don't give up man! You'll definitely be loving that extra grunt on those big tires once you get it all squared away. Have you looked at a boost or afr gauge yet? They would narrow down the search and you'll definitely want them on your setup eventually so they won't just be a one-off.

Good luck brother, sorry about the hang ups.

No I gave my stock pulley away to a fellow member in need.

I need to get gauges and stuff still install. Until then who knows wtf is going on.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Could be the ECU :notsure: I know the earlier ones had this very issue with boost but I forgot what years were affected. 97 I think? I still think its the knock sensors. After hucking that thing around like you do, on solid motor mounts, those sensors are probably shit. Hell, it could just be the motor mounts :notsure: The Toyota sensors are very sensitive.

Good to know. I need to see what's going on first with gauges but is possible.

95-96 aren't supposed to be supported by Trd. Some have had luck. I swapped a 97 tacoma in though. I'll do knock sensors. Gonna be a bitch to do. But whatever. If that doesn't do it then I'm gonna try a 97 4Runner one
