Huh. That's an odd year for that . Though I know they switched to fly by wire in 04. Wouldn't think that would have something to do with it.

They switched in 03. I asked a Toyota tech about it and he said it was due to an update but didn't know what the update was. :notsure: I'm just glad it worked because I got the older 03 ecu and the motor originally ran off the newer ecu according to the vin of the truck the motor came out of.

Baja set me up for an unplanned full front end rebuild! Not much chaining on that end, just getting some stuff swapped out/fixed. The back end is getting most of the love, if we can ever get the coilovers from King.. Hoping to get the truck back by Jan/Feb, perfect timing for when I'm back in school, think I am going to completely miss out on desert season!:annoyed:

I'll start digging through those trip reports :spy: If only I could view them at work I could make more progress~

    Ahh blocking Flickr! Lame.

Baja? Didn't know they made a front kit. What's different from Your built right kit about it?

It's a 3 link with trail arms right? I've thought of doing that..not in the cards though for a while.

Not a Baja kit, Baja the place :tumbleweed:. Truck had a rough time down south so she it getting some repairs.

Back end right now is going to be a 3-Link + Panhard. Keeping the stock tank and likely adding another where the spare tire currently sits. I'll do a write-up if the setup works or not..

Are you sure you aren't having fuel starvation problems?

At this time. No. But if anything it's acting more like it runs rich then anything. Shouldn't be lean not with the larger fuel pump and 7th injector.

But I've unplugged the injector before and it changed nothing.

Guess Ill get a wide band though.

    Extremely tempted to.

    I'm assuming there's no CEL?
Do you have a scan gauge or ultra gauge?
    Have you checked spark advance?
