Well the antenna I linked too folds down for parking garage.

But I leave mine on all the time.

That is the correct mount to drill in the roof.

It all depends on which ecu you have. If you have the right one you'll be fine.

Mine works mostly now. I just unplugged the urd unit. Would recommend the aem FIC6 over the urd. Get some supra injectors and start tuning.

You need the ECU from a 97 (up to 00?), with same engine/trans as you.

Hmmm interesting, has anyone done this? Anyone know the difference between the ecu's?
I was told the only year interchange was 95.5/96.

Ya idk bout dealing with tuning on the dd, no experience. Really just want plug an play with minimal work.

Are there a lot of people who have had issues with the urd kit?

Not a lot, it is almost totally plug n play.

I do know that on our year, you still will likely have to do some tuning to get the ping gone. But it does work. A cheaper solution is the AEM though and some supra injectors off ebay. Grab a 190lph fuel pump and you're good.

So is that what you would suggest doing over the urd kit?
Mines an 01 and I still haven't decided on which route to go. Not looking for anything crazy maybe around 8-10 psi is the end goal

The aem is more modern and better control. But you're totally on your own with it much more involved. The urd kit will work good for most. All about what you want. I'd go for the aem personally.

You better really know what you're doing if you want to push 10 psi through a 3.4L. URD kit with a 2.1 inch pulley will get you 8-9 psi, depending on your elevation, and you still need to do some tuning to keep it safe.
The URD kit is perfect for a stock SC or a 2.2" pulley, basically no tuning required for an 01-04.

Boost pressure is all relative. It's all about efficiency. And the trd blower..well..isn't efficient.

Consider turbo guys are running 10-15psi from a more efficient system. Should be good.

From a trd blower. 10psi is fine to make happen especially if your not at sea level. You'll never see 10. Even with the 2.1.

What does become the limit is the roots design itself at a 2.1 pulley. Makes the blower generate a lot of heat. Which in turn makes it less efficient.
