In that one pic with it open, the truck did look kind of canted over to that side.

Yeah ground is sloped that way. Plus yes the weight if the nest and the swingout are all on that side.

Be nice if it flipped the other way to counter the swingout.

I actually think it looks pretty good!

Could just use a hi-lift to level the truck out for camping. Or park with the drivers side slightly downhill.

Yeah I'm sure with practice I'll figure out how to park it to keep it level. Leaf springs are really soft so that doesn't help.

I'm very interested to take it for a spin too to see how much it leans.

It's pretty cool all around. Can't believe how much room there is when it's open.

I love this build. 662 pages though! Holy crap!

This is what Ryan did on the Kokopelli, right Brett? Using the hi-lift?

Yep. My hilift just lays in the bed so its easily accessible to use to level out the truck for sleeping. When I first got it I used the poles it came with to kind of level it but the the support wires had slack so all the weight was on the small brackets that hold the poles.

Looks really clean compared to my canvas. If you get new canvas I might be interested in that one. I'll be interested in hearing how top heavy it feels compared to your rtt setup.

The canvas isn't bad. There are some smaller holes like pin head sized here and there. But over all isn't bad.

Seems really thin compared to my rtt canvas.

I'm very curious how it'll drive. If it's too heavy I'll go back to the rtt and redo the lift bed rack and incorporate canvas.

Hey Monte. Do you happen to know the approximate page where you built mikes rear bumper? At least all the pictures?

But looks like its found already :p

thought i used all yours..but maybe not.

I need to make another for me..haha

hmmm...I think yes. But I did the roof rack thing too. And I am pretty sure I had a bit left over as well.
