No I was just posted that for fun lol I rather see him with 300hp be able to do everything he wants to do. I'm thinking about switching from a 4.7 tundra to a different V8. Just cause of the internal weakness

eh. I mean the v6 is totally fine in stock form for the most part. No point in a v8 to a manufacture in a truck so small.

I can see that but it'd be nice if the TRD option had a V8 option or supercharged v6 (which the SC was a option)

    I think you'd be seriously disappointed...haha

Has crossed my mind a bit lately. But not likely. That and Id move parts over to Igor and sell a stock truck before I sold Frank as a whole.

Don't misunderstand me, Frank isn't bad. I love seeing Frank on the trail because he's got some cool features and some interesting implementations of ideas. But he's like a chimera of work, some of it was done hastily before or during a trip and some was done to exact specs and buttoned up well. That's by no means a knock on Monte, we all do it, he's a busy dude and he knows what he's doing as well as the theories behind it all. But sometimes you forget to comeback and loctite that bolt you said to yourself you'd get back to. Or you take out an interior panel to install something and it crack in two and you say "I'll replace that", or.... the list goes on. With Frank only being a trail rig there's hardly the impetus there once would have been to maintain creature comforts and sometimes the maintenance schedule doesn't seem as important because it's just not used as much. Hell even changing your mods around leaves you with extra harnesses or plugs and wires. Frank could totally be what he looks like in photos, but lots of stuff would need a refresh, and Igor is right there as the perfect candidate for a really nice do-over. Monte has the skills and most of the parts, it's all about timing I'd suspect.

I did tons of stuff to my green truck that I had to re-do or choose to omit with the grey truck, it was well worth the do-over.
