Got my new latch. It's much bigger and beefier and locks into place will work great. Gonna try and get it welded on tonight so I can use my tail gate easily. Also want to add a locking pin to lock it in place when it's open

Ya the old color was the best color these trucks came with IMO. I'd like to paint it but just can't afford it right now to get it done right. Hopefully some time down the road tho I'd love to

    Thanks tho!

Good to see it on the road. No surprises eh? No unusual vibes and such?

Tent looks good. Looks like you are a couple of inches higher than me. I agree, the ladder is a bit funky. Getting the rungs to lock correctly was a challenge.

Nope, we'll a few things. The heater valve needs adjusted as its always blowing hot air. The light behind the heater controls doesn't work.

But other then that it was great. My driveline is completely strait now with the drop bracket and the shims. So no vibs what so ever.

Don't get me wrong I still have a lot to do

Got my new latch today. It's much bigger. Holds 700lbs. Gonna weld it on tonight as well as CB antenna mount, top of the roof rack and I'm going to add my Jerry can mount. I'm excited for that as I have a cool idea for it :spy:

    b4445a0a_c4a0c5f4293b75542061845f867bb8984ab93060.jpg

Also got my solid motor mounts amd tranny mount. Gonna try and get them in tonight too. Interested to see if I'll like it

Got my new latch on. Works much better. Seems a bit odd tho. Have some tweak ing to do to get it 100% locked down. I mean it does stay down but not where it should

Talk about feeling shity about my wel tho haha after grinding off Tim's and puttin my own on there..I am not as good haha

But while I had the welder got my base down for the gas tank. It's gonna be cool when it's done. I have plans for a cool latch down for it with a pad lock

Leave it as is. Not a huge priority as of now. Later down the road I think I'll paint it back silver. But I'll want to do it right so it'll be a 2-3 thousand dollar job
