In Utah I didnt need to register my trailer. IIRC it comes down to the size/weight. Single axle trailer under a certain size/weight does not require registration, but that's here in Utah. Not sure about elsewhere. Apparently it's correct since I've been dragging my trailer around for 4 years now with no tags and never been stopped or questioned about it.

hey monte, i saw that you have 2nd gen Ubolts on your taco and i had a few questions because i have some sitting around left over from my dads 2nd gen and im thinking of putting them on when i rebuild my leafs.

do they go on without any modification? and whats the benefit of using them? (im assuming there stronger and longer)

Yes I was using 2nd gens ones also left over from my dads 2nd gen. I used them as they were long enough for when I had the wheelers 5 pack and Aal. Now I have just some part store ones as they weren't long enough for 7 leafs that I'm running now.

Not sure if they are stronger but they work great for up to about 6-7 leafs depending on if you use over load leaf and the thickness of the leafs you use. No modification needed! Go right in.

    schweet thanks for the info!

on a somewhat unrelated note, someone wants to trade my stock wheels that im trying to sell for a Trail Gear 3" 9 leaf progressive leaf pack. whats your opinion on the leaf pack, if any? is all of the time/mods/money worth the performance i would get out of them, especially since i only have bilsteins/881's in the front?

Yea they are only 47" long. That's shorter then mine and yours are longer then mine as it is.

Not worth it if you ask me. Unless your real good at fabbing as yes you'll have to custom mount front and rear hangers and new shock mounts.

    I wouldn't do it.
