Yeah I mounted it exactly how you had it in the pictures for 98-00 models.
I figure if it worked for someone else then I better not screw it up and mount it in a place that the bulb won't fit. LEDs are the best.

Did mine today! Works great! Used a plastic welding kit and epoxy, so hopefully I am good to go in the waterproofing department! Thanks for the write-up

    UPDATE:
LED switchbacks. The white is very bright.

    ah crap..

they are on my old PB account too so they are still on the free account. Didn't think those images would generate as much viewing..im paying for my current account so that doesn't happen anymore..

I'm starting to get alerts on my PB account telling me I'm running out of the 10MB free space. I tried using TW's uploading, but that frankly sucks nuts cause it hardly uploads my pictures successfully :smash:

Looks like ya gotta go back and fix it, cause this DIY thread is definitely one of the better ones IMO

yea i should go through most threads and re do some and move photos around..just a pain in the ass haha

and should be 2 GB of free space..or 2.5..was when i made mine a long time ago. have 20 now with paid subscription.

this thread would be easy to fix. Ill do it this weekend though. Has 17k views  more popular then i thought..

    It's a huge PITA

I'll probably just make another Photobucket account and keep my usernames/passwords saved somewhere. I'm cheap like that  and I figure that'll work

what i did for a while. Had my first account..which you pointed out still hits the bandwidth crunch..

and started a second one for after Moab since i had so much traffic from my rebuild. Still do so i just paid the 20ish bucks or whatever.

Shoot, yeah I just realized a few minutes after reading about the bandwidth/different packages. Even if I make a 2nd account, people who click on my pictures from this 1st account will eventually push it past the 2MB bandwidth & crash my photos. Fack

That's what I'm choosing to do after realizing this account's photos will eventually turn to crap.. or nothing.

Hmm I don't know about unlimited  but the lowest you can get is 20MB sooo that's what I'm going with

Does anyone know how to change which album you want defaulted when you go to upload? I'm SICK of switching albums when I hit the upload button :annoyed:

Yeah I have a bunch of photos on there and am always taking pics/uploading them onto TW. I'm gonna live on this site until I ship out to boot camp. No job and summer basically gone means a lot of SeattleCoug on TW and out in the Cascades driving around
